Park's Fried Chicken
About This Spot
Park's Fried Chicken sits quietly on North Paca Street, feeling like a cherished neighborhood secret that’s been patiently waiting for you to discover it. When you step inside, there’s an unhurried warmth to the space — the kind where the bustle of the city outside slows down and the inviting aroma of fried chicken wraps around you like a familiar hug. It’s a place where life’s simple pleasures take center stage, and the kitchen’s steady rhythm shapes a comforting, no-frills atmosphere that locals keep returning to.
This is not a spot that tries to dazzle with flashiness. Instead, its strength lies in consistency and genuine care, reflected in the easy smiles of the friendly team behind the counter and the steady stream of visitors who know exactly what they’re here for. There’s a timeless quality here, in part because Park’s has quietly held its ground since the late '70s, nurturing a place in the community as a reliable stop for soul-satisfying fried chicken.
When your order arrives, it’s about the texture and balance — from the crisp, golden edges of wings to the well-seasoned bites of gizzards and the familiar comfort of creamy macaroni and cheese or crispy fries. The option to personalize your meal with house sauces invites you to make each visit your own, giving a fresh twist to a well-loved classic. It’s the kind of food that’s both grounding and endlessly approachable, inviting you to slow down and savor without fuss.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a casual meal, Park’s feels like a steady companion in Baltimore’s culinary landscape — a place where tradition and friendliness meet in the simple joy of good fried chicken shared among neighbors and newcomers alike.

Well I'm visiting this area and my family was actually getting food across the street from this place... I could smell the chicken as we turned the corner... I did go with my family... but I just couldn't get that good smelling chicken out my head.. needless to say ... I came over too check them out... first off I love the fact they're been in business since 1978... which tell you... they're doing something right... not only are they cooking chicken... but every part of the bird... including the necks, liver & gizzards... where they do that at... when I tell you the season is on point... baby get you some... homemade sides ... mac & cheese, candies yams, greens & corn bread... the costumer service is awesome... if you're ever in this area and love home style fried chicken cooked... pull up you won't be disappointed

It's probably some of the best fried chicken I've had in a while. I've now been a few times, and the food is always consistently good. I live in DE and anytime we are in the area or close I make it a point to stop by Parks Fried Chicken. Quick and friendly service...Overall, a great place to get some fried chicken.

I'm assuming this is the one of the chicken spots out of the old Lexington Market. I went in at high noon on a friday and it was only one person in line. The women that work here were very friendly. They had lots of chicken wings, chicken livers, chicken thighs and chicken breast ready to order. The prices weren't bad and the chicken was hot and good as well. Its definatley a spot I could and will go back to.

Good fried chicken. They also sell side like candied yams. Fried chicken liver and gizzards are good too. Once you get your food you can season it how event you want. Street paid parking in front.

ROYALS vs....PARKS for the fried chicken I LOVED Parks Western Fries much better than the ones from Royals. The flavor on the chicken wings wasn't "mind-blowing" BUT it was seasoned & not "bland". BOTH places have smallER wings but PARKS does have a BIGGER wing than Royals. BOTH wings were CRISPY/CRUNCHY but Royals was crispier. If you want your wings made FRESH TO ORDER go to Royals. If you want something quick go grab some wings out the heat lamp from PARKS. I give Parks a solid 4/5. I give Royals a 3/5 for the disrespectful siE of their wings.

They have some of the best fried chicken in Bmore! There’s not much of an atmosphere cause it’s pick up only. But lemme tell you! If they stayed open longer and had a sit down area it would be a whole problem in a good way! That’s the kinda chicken you have after leaving a concert, a bad day from work or if you wanna be greedy and eat chicken for breakfast lol it’s gotta be fresh tho cause that with some mambo sauce and hot sauce oooh weeee! All I say is get there before 4 they close on time!
